It was a busy day of this and that. Exile #1 began the morning shoveling the few inches of snow that had fallen overnight.
We made it to church, then enjoyed an afternoon of taxi driving. Exile #4 had a youth group meeting. Exile #3 was invited to a birthday party, where she found herself ice skating for the first time in many years. It sounds like she hadn’t completely forgotten how to stay upright, although she may not be up to a triple lutz quite yet. Mind you she did get an unexpected opportunity to practice yesterday, as parts of our hike were surprisingly treacherous. E5N1 certainly ended up on the ground at some point, but knowing his love of slapstick, it may not have been entirely accidental. The slippery parts may be gone by next weekend, however, as this coming week looks like it will be fairly sunny and dare I say it, warm.
