Day 11.208: Caterpillar plant

There have been a lot of bugs around this summer - and by that I mainly mean mosquitoes. There have been a few caterpillars around too, but it was unusual to see some still growing on the caterpillar plant when we visited Fort Williams a few weeks ago:

That's definitely how this works - right?
