E5N1 has had a week. We heard on Thursday night that he had potentially been exposed to COVID on the school bus and that he needed to quarantine for two weeks. We isolated him as best we could and took to wearing masks ourselves in the so-called public areas of the house. He needed to wait a while before a test would likely be effective, so he hunkered down.
It wasn’t all bad. He did get full room service and unrestricted use of his devices. But he was still extremely glad to find out today that the test came back negative. He still has to finish his quarantine as an extra precaution but it’s a relief all round.
