We wouldn’t have known that the sewage treatment works were the site of the historical Fort Washington (who would guess?!)
We wouldn’t have known that the stairs descending into the water were really “shore access”
And we certainly would not have guessed that the ring of stones surrounded by bushes was a “scenic overlook”
But there you go!
