In between, we had a nice walk in the sunshine and we played Catan and Game of Life and, in a big change from recent game results, I won them both. Hopefully my success will continue tomorrow.

Day 8.119: Mother's Day (observed)
We celebrated (US) Mother's Day a day early because, with the best will in the world, tomorrow is not going to be a day of pampering for Exile #2. Not that today was exactly that either, but she did have a fuss made of her first thing this morning and I cooked dinner this evening.
In between, we had a nice walk in the sunshine and we played Catan and Game of Life and, in a big change from recent game results, I won them both. Hopefully my success will continue tomorrow.
