Exile #4 was over at a friend's house last night. So, while Exile #1 was recovering from running more miles than anyone should be able to run before breakfast, I went to retrieve her. She wasn't as pale as she often is after a night of chattering and watching movies but she decided to stay home while the rest of us headed into Portland for church.
When we got home, we grabbed a quick lunch, then settled down for a long-overdue catch up over Skype with my brother and sister-in-law, and our nephew, who can now count his age in whole years! He was a lot more mobile than when we saw him, and showed off his waving and clapping, not to mention some serious drumming skills. E5N1 did his best to give him a "hug", while the rest of us settled with pulling goofy faces. We also exchanged congratulations with P and M, as we weren't the only ones celebrating our anniversary yesterday! It was not quite as fun as being in the same room, but it was the next best thing!
