Today we said goodbye (but not really) to one half of our husband and wife pastoring team at HopeGateWay. A is going on to a new job but will continue to be part of the worshipping community.
I’m guessing the details of that might take a while to iron out but it did make today seem like a less final occasion. Exile #1 had been part of the team hatching party plans and they did a great job organizing food, speeches and gifts. Not surprisingly the rest of the day included a nap.
