a few weeks ago and commented that the water was very low because of the construction of a fish-way to allow fish to spawn upstream of the mill's weirs.

Well, it turns out that last week, the level of the river near the bridge this was taken from was low enough that a kayaker spotted a submerged car that was stolen in 2017 - presumably I have been taking these photo from very close to it for some time.
