Day 12.271: All five of us?!

On Saturday, thanks - in part - to the girls having had Friday off school, everyone was up for a short walk. We headed to Saco Heath and it was perfect conditions:

The caterpillar is another tussock moth - not the Hessel's hairstreak which is one of the reasons that the heath is a protected area. In fact, you would do well to spot the hairstreak's caterpillar as they are rather well camouflaged on the leaves that they feed on.
