Day 15.299: But who’s counting?

I don’t know how many raking days we’ve had this year. We’re deep into oak leaf territory now. We did a good load this morning:

but later in the day, there were a good sprinkling again. 

In other news we’ve signed up for Project FeederWatch this year and today started our first count of birds. Not a spectacular day. Exile #2 thinks we have fewer feathered visitors on weekend days (due to outdoor human activity or something else she doesn’t know). I guess we’ll see.
