Day 15.303: Finding our way
One time in our first (or possibly second) autumn of the Exile, we went for a walk on a less-familiar trail at Five Rivers and found ourselves unable to find the path due to the leaves coating trail and not-trail alike. We experienced the same fallen-leaf carpet on Sunday:
but in any case, thanks to 15 years of hiking in all seasons, we've become accustomed to keeping our eyes on the blazes on the trees to ensure we don't wander off the correct path.
