It rained and rained today, thanks to Tropical Storm Nicole, who had been making her way up the coast all week. We’re due to have another brush with a storm later this week, this one coming from the west. If we were further inland, we would probably even see some snow. But in our case, it will probably just be rain. I say “just” but I haven’t met a Mainer that doesn’t follow up a comment about the rain by saying how much we still need it, so no complaints here.

Plus, it made for some perfect board game playing conditions, so what could we do but play?
