Day 15.306: Visit to the West End

E5N1 was visiting a friend in Portland to play D&D this evening, so after we dropped him in what passes for late afternoon at this time of year, we went for a walk in the nearby Western Cemetery and the Western Promenade.

The cemetery itself is nothing special, but the light was a bit magical.

The promenade has lovely views over the Fore River estuary.

It was a very nice place for a stroll.

Later in the evening I went back (long after dark) to bring E5N1 home - it's surprising I remembered to write a blog post after all that.
