Exile #2 writes...
This weekend has had its weird and wonderful moments. I found myself ordering a stack of pizzas for the school band, so they could grab a quick lunch between parading and pepping. Exile #1 found himself scaling dizzy new heights - literally - on the scaffolding in our new church building to put up some fittings from which to hang fabric.
Then, at some point Exile #1 remembered that we have a tool for fitting grommets somewhere in the house and that it might be useful in the hanging of fabrics, so we spent a slightly frustrating evening trying to track it down. Just as we are finding in moving church buildings, you can accumulate a lot in 10 years, and the tool still eludes us - although we have found some instructions and grommets. It weighs a ton, mind, so when we find it we’ll know.
