Day 16.296: Will old be new again?

Maine’s bicentennial celebrations were somewhat detailed by the COVID-19 pandemic, but one thing that made an impact was the bicentennial flag - based on the original Maine state flag. Next year we’ll get to vote on it becoming the new Maine flag, replacing the rather complicated coat-of-arms flag. Will what was old become new again? Time will tell.
