We took a drive up north today. On our way to our primary destination, Google Maps switched into metric distance units. Generally that happens when you cross the Canadian border - we were very far away from doing that. I'll tell you about where we were heading for another day.
Our second destination was to Brunswick where Exile #2 thought she had found somewhere serving gluten-free fish and chips and indeed she had (she also had a cup of tea with milk).
The restaurant (Frontier) was at a cinema in a converted mill and turned out to be rather excellent.
It's not exactly inexpensive, but when all the food is excellent, much of it is local, there are views like this:
...and it puts a smile like that on Exile #2's face (along with resounding praise from all the rest of us), who am I to quibble?
