At some point Google Now on my phone found out what sports teams I'm interested in and it updates me with fixture times, scores etc. I don't know if it found out by asking me or by reading my email (either is possible). Either way, I can't help wondering if any other of the 1,750,000,000 smartphone users in the world saw the following juxtaposition of notifications on the Saturday before last:
