The day after Thanksgiving is a holiday for many people and is known (but not for any of the good reasons people think) as Black Friday. The traditional activity is shopping. Let's just say we've done a pretty good job of avoiding that American tradition during the last eight years.
Instead, we had more family time - making one outing for Exile #4 to gain her next belt at the karate dojo, but no shopping apart from a small grocery top-up.

Astonishingly, when I checked a couple of minutes ago, she is still "standing" - even more horizontal, but definitely bearing her own weight. Quite a feat of engineering!
