There was a short gap early in the afternoon of the crazy rush-around that was Sunday. The girls were finishing up homework before going out to a church meeting and the rest of us were clearing up from lunch when E5N1 suggested that since the weather was so nice, we should go for a walk at Scarborough Marsh. Although he loves being out, he is usually reluctant when going out is suggested, so this was an opportunity not to be passed-up.
So the three of us headed out and it looked something like this:
The lower bird - will it be identified?
ReplyDeleteDid you want to offer an identification? I think it's probably a greater yellowlegs?
DeleteI thought it might be a Willett, hence my comment
ReplyDeleteOut punned! Nicely done. I still think it's the yellowlegs although none of my photos captured the main identifying feature(s)!
DeleteHappy with all of that!
