Day 11.175: ET at the marsh on the 4th of July

As aliens (apart from E5N1), it is not easy to know quite how to celebrate the Fourth of July. As Brits, perhaps more so. In the end, we treated the day like a midweek heatwave Saturday. We installed the rest of the window unit air conditioners, caught up on the original Ant-Man movie, played a game and then - in the only slightly cooler early evening, had a walk on the Eastern Trail at Scarborough Marsh.

Apparently, evening walks are not a popular choice for an Independence Day observance - we had rarely seen it so quiet.
