Day 14.179: Birds at Eastern Promenade Trail

The first sighting (top-left) was of a large bird being mobbed by a small gull. Surprisingly it decided to perch on the top of a mast where it continued to be tormented - luckily for me it meant I could get a photo and identify it as an osprey.

Top right is a brown thrasher, bottom left is a passing double-crested cormorant and bottom right is a northern mockingbird that perched at the very top of a tree and gave us a variety of calls - one of which sounded very much like the chirp of a car doors locking.
