Day 14.174: Weather whiplash
Last week we scheduled our walk on the beach as early as we could to avoid the heat and the crowds. By Tuesday, we were sweltering in mid-90's temperatures pretty much from dawn to dusk.
Today was grey and almost cold and when we arrived in the early afternoon of a summer Saturday for a walk on the beach - wearing jackets - we had hardly any competition for the parking spaces. It's a remarkable swing even by Maine standards.
