It's not the prettiest, but so far, our new dehumidifier arrangement for our finished basement is working great.
At our last house, our dehumidifier drained via a short hose into the sump, but when we arrived here, the radon mitigation meant that the sump is sealed. So for seven years, we've been carrying the full buckets from the dehumidifier upstairs all summer long (sometimes more than once a day).
This weekend, I finally got around to installing a condensate pump, so now the dehumidifier can continually drain and the small pump runs a few times a day to pump a container full of water up and out of the window onto the ground outside.
It's actually pretty life-changing.
