Day 14.215: By Jove!
With a few new attachments for the telescope, I've been doing some improved photography. The top photo is from yesterday - Jupiter and its moons (from L to R, Callisto, Ganymede, Io & Europa). The bottom photos are of Jupiter and Saturn tonight.
Wait - whose telescope IS this anyway?!? (And what kind of attachments: adapters of a mechanical or electrical sort, or optics?) Nice pix of Jupiter & of the moons, BTW...
Haha - Exile #4's telescope, but my camera attachments - a fancy tube for connecting my DSLR to the eyepiece hole and a 2x Barlow lens to allow me to get it into focus (and give a bit of extra magnification). The best viewing experience is with the Barlow lens and the high-magnification eyepiece (better than these photos).
