It’s been really very wet this week and we’ve been watching our poor hawk mama sitting on her fairly exposed nest throughout it all. But all this watching has given Exile #1 time to come up with names for her and her mate - Toni and Guy. He announced this to slightly blank stares from Exile #3 and then had to explain - you know, Toni as in Toni Hawk and Toni and Guy as in, well, Toni & Guy.
Of course, as will happen sometimes he was citing a British thing (a hair salon chain) thinking it was an American thing and Exile #3 was none the wiser. Oh, she responded, I thought you meant Guy, as in Guy Hawkes and that was even better. So, there we have them Toni and Guy.

Meanwhile, it being Mother’s Day US edition, I had the joy of coming home to a clean kitchen and living room and to a tasty take out dinner, most important not cooked by me!
