Day 9.210: Exile #2's Sunday Column #117

Exile #2 writes...

We got seriously diverted by the Olympics this morning. It's a little ironic that such impressive feats of fitness and strength should have us taking to the couch, but we made up for it this afternoon with a long meandering visit to the Portland Art Museum. I was particularly excited to find a special exhibit of Georgia O'Keeffe and some of her female contemporaries, whilst other Exiles had their minds blown by the art of Duncan Hewitt - pieces appearing to be made of fabric, rubber, glass, or metal but actually carved from wood.

It was a warm breezy day, so we walked all over Portland, eating dinner out on the deck at Elevation Burger and rounding off with a trip to Gelato Fiasco before heading home... For a little more Olympic viewing, of course.
