Day 18.175: Two Lights State Park

Exile #2 and I seized the day by heading to Two Lights State Park shortly after they opened at 9 am. Here's some of what we saw on the trails:

The real star of the show is the rocky coastline

It seems made for vertical orientation photography

I always love this view of the old defensive tower

Here are some of the flying things we saw:

From TL (L to R, T to B): gray catbird, common yellowthroat, common tern*,
song sparrow, common tern*, song sparrow,
double-crested cormorant, green darner dragonfly, least tern

*I find it very difficult to definitively identify these as common terns, they could be Arctic terns or even roseate terns, but my best guess is common terns.

Here are some of the plants we saw:

From TL (L to R, T to B): tufted vetch, Virginian rose, northern seaside goldenrod,
berries catching the light (possibly honeysuckle), slender path rush, northern blue flag,
chickory, creeping thistle, orange hawkweed
