Day 15.210: Eastern Promenade Birds

Not surprisingly, our rather hot mid-morning walk on Saturday wasn't the best for bird spotting, but this is some of what we managed to see:

Double-crested cormorant low in the water

Tern (probably common) hunting

Close-up of tern that was flying circuits that came very close to us

Osprey

Osprey carrying a fish

The osprey carrying a fish was rather distant, but I had the impression it was a large bird carrying something and hoped it would look something like this when I had the chance to blow it up.
