The envelope had a "window" cut into it showing the "in action" view from the top item below. Inside were three pieces of paper - a news story, a missing pet announcement and a puzzle. Here are two of them:

Now I think about it, it's about the same number and type of news stories in our local weekly free paper - he's just missing a few car dealership advertisements.
