Day 7.172: Reading, fighting and refrigeration

E5N1 has taken to reading our Calvin and Hobbes compilations. It's giving him ideas. Some of them (like how to deal with your parents) are less appealing than others, such as the obvious snow-goon influence over these tableaux he created this morning:

He called the situations "unfortunate" which might apply to getting up-ended in a dustbin, or even falling into a well, but being decapitated by a smiling skeleton? not so sure.

In addition to that fighting, I took Exile #4 to her karate lesson this evening and while she was doing that I rushed to Home Depot for supplies for some overdue chores - replacing the filter for the fridge water dispenser and installing a window-unit air conditioner - being chief among them.
